As part of a multi-technology auction (RES) launched by the Greek Energy Regulatory Authority (RAE), EDF Renewables' subsidiary in the country was awarded a contract to purchase long-term electricity (Power Purchase Agreement), relating to a photovoltaic solar project with a capacity of 60 MWp.<\/p>\n
This project contributes to the objectives of the EDF Group's CAP 2030 strategy, which aims to double, between 2015 and 2030, its renewable capacities worldwide, to reach 50 GW.<\/p>\n
The Loutsa solar project (60 MWp) will extend over 82 hectares in the Boeotia region, near Athens. Its commissioning is planned by 2022 and it will benefit from a 20-year electricity purchase contract at a rate of \u20ac53\/MWh.<\/p>\n
