The Group is also increasing its portfolio of photovoltaic projects under development by around 900 MWp gross.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7496\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7496\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.france.edf-powersolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Luxel_Ille-sur-Tet_11MW_2014-1024x430.jpg\" alt=\"Ille sur T\u00eat - 11 MWc\" width=\"1024\" height=\"430\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7496\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ille sur T\u00eat \u2013 11 MWp<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The acquisition of the LUXEL Group also allows EDF Renewables to strengthen its development teams, thanks to around forty recognized photovoltaic specialists, distributed between the LUXEL head office, located in P\u00e9rols (H\u00e9rault), and six development agencies on the territory.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe acquisition of LUXEL, which has a portfolio of quality projects and experienced teams, allows EDF Renewables to significantly strengthen its position in solar energy in France, with a view to achieving the ambitious objectives of the Solar Plan EDF.
