This twenty-year contract covers the Cypress wind project, with a capacity of 201.6 MW.<\/p>\n<p>Cypress benefits from a power supply contract (PPA), won during the second phase of calls for tenders of the REP (Renewable Electricity Program), managed by the AESO on behalf of the government of the province of Alberta.<\/p>\n<p>This PPA is part of a partnership between EDF Renewables, Canada and the Blood Tribe, First Nation.<\/p>\n<p>This new project thus contributes to the EDF Group&#039;s CAP 2030 strategy, which aims to double its renewable capacities worldwide between 2015 and 2030, to reach 50 GW.<\/p>\n<p>The Cypress Wind Project is located in the Cypress County of the Province of Alberta.
