{"id":4269,"date":"2018-06-06T12:29:48","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T10:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.france.edf-powersolutions.com\/presse\/communiques-de-presse\/?p=4269"},"modified":"2024-01-04T17:31:01","modified_gmt":"2024-01-04T16:31:01","slug":"edf-energies-nouvelles-accelere-sa-croissance-dans-les-energies-renouvelables-en-france","status":"publish","type":"communiques","link":"https:\/\/france.edf-powersolutions.com\/en\/communiques\/edf-energies-nouvelles-accelere-sa-croissance-dans-les-energies-renouvelables-en-france\/","title":{"rendered":"EDF Energies Nouvelles accelerates its growth in renewable energies in France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1672 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.france.edf-powersolutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/edf-energies-nouvelles_logo-300x119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"119\" \/>After exceeding its growth objectives in 2017 in France, EDF Energies Nouvelles continues its expansion in 2018 and is ready to contribute to the EDF Solar Plan.<\/p>\n<p>EDF Energies Nouvelles exceeded its annual growth objective in France with <strong>290<\/strong> <strong>MW of additional wind capacity in 2017<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commissioning of the Montagne Ard\u00e9choise wind farm (73.5 MW) in Ard\u00e8che;<\/li>\n<li>Commissioning of the Bois de Belfays wind farm (20 MW) in the Vosges;<\/li>\n<li>Commissioning of the 4 Vall\u00e9es III wind farm (16 MW) in the Marne;<\/li>\n<li>Commissioning of the Carnoye wind farm (19.8 MW) in Pas-de-Calais;<\/li>\n<li>Consolidation of Futuren wind farms (159 MW).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2018, EDF Energies Nouvelles continues its development in wind power to contribute to the EDF Group&#039;s CAP 2030 strategy and today announces the <strong>commissioning of nearly 100 additional MW<\/strong>, including the Champagne Picarde park (73 MW), in Aisne, made up of 22 wind turbines. Its energy production corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of 73,000 inhabitants, or the equivalent of 13% of the population of Axon.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond these new capabilities, <strong>7 parks are under construction, for a total of around 120 MW<\/strong>. Throughout France, EDF Energies Nouvelles works to <strong>development of a portfolio of projects of more than 1,000 MW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EDF is getting ready to accelerate in solar energy in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EDF&#039;s Solar Plan aims to develop 30 GWp of solar energy in France between 2020 and 2035, i.e. a market share in the different segments estimated at around 30%. Distributed solar will account for a third of the Solar Plan. Thanks to its early positioning on the self-consumption market and its leading position, the Group intends to make distributed solar an essential pillar of the Solar Plan, with a <strong>ambitious target of 10 GWp installed by 2035<\/strong> \u2013 including 9 GWp for professionals and 1 GWp for individuals.<\/p>\n<p>A pioneer and leader in self-consumption for individuals, EDF ENR, the Group&#039;s subsidiary dedicated to this activity, already has 4,000 &quot;Mon Soleil &amp; Moi&quot; self-consumption households to its credit since its launch two years ago, i.e. a share market of 20 %. <strong>The ambition for 2018 is to install more than 3,000 \u201cMon Soleil &amp; Moi\u201d generators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the self-consumption market for businesses, EDF ENR obtained a market share of 17% during dedicated CRE calls for tenders and is today launching a <strong>financing offer for photovoltaic installations for businesses<\/strong> who wish to engage in self-consumption without investing themselves in a photovoltaic generator.<\/p>\n<p>A major player in solar energy internationally and the originator of nearly 10% of existing solar installations in France, EDF Energies Nouvelles is deploying a strategy covering all market segments to contribute to the success of the EDF Group&#039;s Solar Plan. This strategy is based on an integrated model, from project development to their operation and maintenance, on sustained investment in innovation and the search for industrial excellence.<\/p>\n<p>This strategy is also based on research and development and the territorial coverage of EDF teams dedicated to communities and businesses. The land targeted primarily are so-called \u201cdegraded\u201d sites, that is to say industrial wastelands, polluted, abandoned sites or old quarries, which can benefit from a second life with the development of photovoltaic projects. For example, <strong>EDF Energies Nouvelles commissioned the Fouilloux power plant (12 MWp) in early 2018<\/strong>, located in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, on a former kaolin quarry.
