The acquisition, subject to customary conditions precedent, is expected to be finalized by the end of 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"detail-content\">\n<p>The Chestnut Flats wind project, developed and built by Gamesa Energy USA, is located in the town of Logan, in Blair County, northwest of Altoona, Pennsylvania. It has eighteen G90 turbines and one G87 turbine supplied by Gamesa, with a unit capacity of two megawatts. The American electricity company Delmarva Power and Light, a subsidiary of the energy company Pepco Holdings Inc., will purchase the energy produced under a 20-year electricity sales contract.<br \/>\nThis acquisition constitutes EDF EN&#039;s first wind power plant in Pennsylvania. It will strengthen the group&#039;s production capacities and its position in the United States.<\/p>\n<div class=\"d-about\"><strong>About EDF Energies Nouvelles<\/strong>EDF Energies Nouvelles is an international leader in renewable electricity with an installed capacity of more than 9 GW gross worldwide.
