The electricity produced by the 70 turbines of the manufacturer REpower will be sold to the American electricity company San Diego Gas &amp; Electric (SDG&amp;E) under a 20-year power sales agreement (PPA). .<\/p>\n<p>This wind farm will provide electricity from renewable sources equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 56,000 people. EDF Renewable Services will ensure operation and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>The twentieth wind project owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles in California, the Pacific Wind wind farm brings its installed capacity in the country to 1,467 MW gross. This achievement illustrates EDF EN&#039;s long presence in the United States and its constant capacity to develop new renewable energy projects.<\/p>\n<p>About EDF Energies Nouvelles<br \/>\nEDF Energies Nouvelles is an international leader in renewable electricity with an installed capacity of more than 9 GW gross worldwide.
