With a total amount of \u20ac277,000, the collection will allow the local population to invest, from December 14 and until February 14, 2021, in these two renewable installations which are scheduled to be commissioned in 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Involve residents in the construction of the two photovoltaic plants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These collections, whose campaigns will start on December 14, 2020 via the internet pages <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lendosphere.com\/salzuit\">www.lendosphere.com\/salzuit <\/a>And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lendosphere.com\/pouzin\">www.lendosphere.com\/pouzin<\/a> aim to finance part of the construction of the two photovoltaic parks, located in the municipalities of Salzuit and Le Pouzin and whose construction sites began last September.<\/p>\n<p>With a total capacity of 4.2 MW, the Salzuit solar power plant is located on a former quarry with an area of 4.6 hectares. It will consist of more than 9,900 panels.<\/p>\n<p>The Le Pouzin photovoltaic power plant project is located in the \u201cIle Chambenier\u201d activity zone of the commune of Le Pouzin, and extends over 8 hectares. With a total installed capacity of 8.2 MW, it will include nearly 22,600 panels.<\/p>\n<p>These two solar parks contribute to local dynamism and will generate more than \u20ac63,300 in direct tax benefits for communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Salzuit solar project, the collection, set at \u20ac92,000:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>will be reserved for residents of the Rives du Haut-Allier Community of Communes from December 14 to December 30, 2020;<\/li>\n<li>then it will be open from December 30 to all residents of Haute-Loire and the departments bordering the plant: Ard\u00e8che, Cantal, Loire, Loz\u00e8re and Puy-de-D\u00f4me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Le Pouzin solar project, the collection, amounting to \u20ac185,000:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>will be reserved for residents of the Privas Center Ard\u00e8che urban community from December 14 until December 30;<\/li>\n<li>then will be open from December 30 until February 14, 2021 to all residents of Ard\u00e8che and the departments where the plant is located and bordering: Dr\u00f4me, Gard, Haute-Loire, Is\u00e8re, Loire, Loz\u00e8re and Vaucluse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Investing in sustainable economic recovery and energy transition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These two photovoltaic power plant projects mark the desire of local authorities to promote the development of renewable energies. For EDF Renewables, it is a question of sustainably supporting the territories in their ambitions and of carrying out projects that respect the environment while generating economic benefits at the local level. Through these crowdfunding operations, citizens become stakeholders in solar power plants.<\/p>\n<p>When they are commissioned in the second quarter of 2021, these plants will produce respectively 5.1 GWh, or the equivalent of the average annual electricity consumption of around 1,044 homes, for the Salzuit solar power plant and 10.8 GWh, i.e. the equivalent of the average annual electricity consumption of approximately 2,244 homes, for the Pouzin solar power plant.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2020 and 2021, EDF Renewables and its subsidiary Luxel will have launched nearly one million euros in crowdfunding for their renewable energy projects.<\/p>\n<p>For Francis Audigier, Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes regional manager of EDF Renewables:<br \/>\n<em>\u201cEDF Renewables is very pleased to launch these new campaigns for the two solar power plants of Salzuit and Le Pouzin. After the success of the last crowdfunding of \u20ac300,000 for the construction of three photovoltaic power plants in Ain, these two new projects should confirm the mobilization of local residents for the energy transition and economic recovery.
