{"id":10094,"date":"2020-10-23T13:51:17","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T11:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.france.edf-powersolutions.com\/?p=10094"},"modified":"2024-01-04T17:28:09","modified_gmt":"2024-01-04T16:28:09","slug":"edf-renouvelables-remporte-105-mw-de-projets-solaires-au-sol-en-france-lors-du-dernier-appel-doffres-solaire-de-la-commission-de-regulation-de-lenergie-cre","status":"publish","type":"communiques","link":"https:\/\/france.edf-powersolutions.com\/en\/communiques\/edf-renouvelables-remporte-105-mw-de-projets-solaires-au-sol-en-france-lors-du-dernier-appel-doffres-solaire-de-la-commission-de-regulation-de-lenergie-cre\/","title":{"rendered":"EDF Renewables wins 105 MW of ground-mounted solar projects in France during the latest solar call for tenders from the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Paris, October 23, 2020 \u2013 EDF Renewables won 12 ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant projects, with a total capacity of 105 MW during the call for tenders (known as the \u201cCRE 4.8 call for tenders\u201d), the results of which have just been made public.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Winning projects in six French regions<\/strong><br \/>\nThe new solar power plants will be located in the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Pays de la Loire regions. They will be developed in close consultation with local elected officials, landowners and local stakeholders. Their construction will begin in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competitive projects<\/strong><br \/>\nThese ground-mounted photovoltaic projects were the winners of a very competitive call for tenders, marked by an average price of the selected projects of \u20ac57.4\/MWh, down by 7.4 % compared to the previous call for tenders, which demonstrates EDF Renewables&#039; ability to develop competitive projects.<\/p>\n<p>EDF ENR, the group&#039;s subsidiary dedicated to self-consumption solar projects, for its part won 9.4 MW, bringing the total capacity won by the EDF group to more than 114 MW.<\/p>\n<p>These successes demonstrate significant progress in the Group&#039;s Solar Plan, which is progressing at a good pace. Since its launch at the end of 2017, EDF has multiplied by 6 the number of solar projects winning calls for tender. The Solar Plan aims to make EDF one of the solar leaders in France with 30% market share by 2035.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Couderc, France Director of EDF Renewables, declares: <em>&quot; We are very <\/em><em>happy to win 105 MW of new ground-mounted solar projects in France and to contribute <\/em><em>as well as the French energy transition.
