enXco, the American subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, announces the commissioning of the Shiloh III wind farm, with a capacity of 102.5 MW, in the state of California.
Developed and built by enXco, the Shiloh III wind farm is located in Solano County, California, and is equipped with 50 REpower turbines, with a unit capacity of 2.05 MW. enXco Service Corporation will operate and maintain the park.
The electricity produced by this wind farm, the equivalent of the electricity consumption of around 50,000 people, will be sold to the American electricity company Pacific Gas and Electric, under an electricity sales contract ( PPA) with a duration of 20 years.
The Group's seventeenth wind farm in the state of California, this commissioning consolidates EDF Energies Nouvelles' position in the United States and brings the Group's installed wind capacity in the country to 1,277 MW gross.
