EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions the Barmoor wind farm in the United Kingdom

Continuing its development in the United Kingdom, EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning of the Barmoor wind farm (12 MW) by its local subsidiary, EDF Energy Renewables.
To date, the group has installed a total of 551 MW of wind capacity in the country.

Barmoor Wind Farm is located in the county of Northumberland in the north-east of England. Made up of six Vestas turbines with 2 MW of unit power, this new park with 12 MW of installed power generates the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 6,500 British homes.

In the United Kingdom, EDF Energies Nouvelles currently has 551 MW of installed wind capacity, including 62 MW of offshore wind.
