enXco, the American subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, announces the commissioning of the Lakefield wind farm, with a capacity of 205.5 MW, in the state of Minnesota.
Located in Jackson County, southwest Minnesota, the Lakefield wind farm is equipped with 137 turbines from the manufacturer General Electric, with a unit capacity of 1.5 MW.
A 20-year power sales contract (PPA) has been signed with the electricity company Indianapolis Power & Light.
The Group's ninth achievement in the state of Minnesota and the largest wind project since the construction of the Fenton wind farm by enXco, this commissioning strengthens EDF Energies Nouvelles' activity in the United States and increases the Group's installed wind capacity. in the country at 1,141 gross MW.
